Job Description
Reporting to Manager, FOP Quality & Safety (MFQS), the Company's expansion will require you to assist with new aircraft introductions, route expansion, additional supplier oversight and enlarged scope of the FOP Quality & Safety team’s role.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the MFQS in managing the Flight Operations Department’s conformance with matters relating to the FOP Quality, Safety, Security and Fatigue Risk Management Systems
- Undertake effective quality assurance activities and related reporting requirements in line with QMS policy, including acting as a Lead Auditor or Auditor for Internal Audits and Supplier Audits
- Monitor regulatory approvals, exemptions, permissions, variations, flight operations notices and similar instruments for validity
- Investigate incidents, serious incidents and accidents, and other selected occurrences, and propose mitigation plans where necessary
- Monitor the effective implementation of security procedures by FOP
- Monitor FRMS databases, coordinate fatigue analysis for new patterns/rosters, and investigate fatigue-related safety reports
- Ensure that the FOP Quality and Safety team’s documentation and records system meets the requirements defined in the QMS Manual
- Responsible for the FOP Quality and Safety Officer (FQSO), including providing training and guidance to enhance his knowledge and skills in related areas
Requirements
- Hong Kong permanent resident status
- Holder of a bachelor’s degree in Aviation or related disciplines
- A minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience in aviation, minimum 1 year experience in Flight Operations Management, supervisory or training role
- Understanding of IOSA FLT and DSP operational disciplines and regulatory requirements
- Experienced in handling the Quality, Safety and/or Security Management Systems
- Experience as an Auditor or Auditee
- Detail-minded and well organised
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Excellent written and oral English communication skills, Chinese advantageous
- Proficient in MS Office applications
- A good team player with strong communication skills and time management skills
- Independent, self-motivated and able to work under pressure
