Job Description

Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) Administrator acts as the focal point to represent the company to liaise with Civil Aviation Department for EFB compliance in according to CAD562 and AMC20-25 regulations. He/she shall be the person in overall charge of the EFB system and will be responsible for ensuring that any hardware and software conforms to the required specification, and that no unauthorized software is installed. He/she also capable to manage on budget and cost control on hardware ordering and new system integration to liaise with differ renders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all applications installed, provide support to the EFB users on these applications
  • Monitor and manage potential security and integrity issues associated with EFB and applications installed
  • Management of hardware and software configurations and ensure that no unauthorised software is installed
  • Ensure the integrity of the data packages used by the applications installed
  • Ensure the arrangements are made for continuity of the management of the EFB system in the absence on the EFB administrator
  • Manage technical and performance issues for both hardware and software aspects
  • Provide new software and hardware version launch strategy
  • Prepare EFB related training material and conduct related briefing or training to the end-users

Requirements

  • Hong Kong permanent resident status
  • Bachelor’s degree holder, preferably in aviation or related discipline
  • A minimum of 5 years’ working experience in Aviation Information Management within flight operations
  • Experience with Apple Business Manager, Mobile Device Management for iOS and Windows Device
  • Detail-minded and well organised
  • Experience in using XML tools to create documentation
  • Experience in IOSA audit will be advantage
  • Proficient in MS Office applications and chinese word processing
  • Good command of both oral and written English, Chinese and Mandarin
  • A team player, with excellent decision making and communication skills
  • Knowledge of Automation software will be advantage
  • Independent, self-motivated and able to work under pressure
  • Preferably a valid Hong Kong Driving License (Type 1)
