Job Description

You are expected to support day-to-day processes in the Safety Management System (SMS) and Flight Data Analysis Program (FDAP) to ensure safe flight operations.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the implementation of Flight Data Monitoring software system
  • Support the development, implementation and maintenance of Flight Data Analysis Programme
  • Support to prepare regular FDAP reports and review meetings
  • Monitor the serviceability of flight data recording and analysis systems
  • Assist in the implementation of quality safety management database
  • Manage safety data for risk and trend analysis and management review
  • Support the development of SMS related training and promotion materials
  • Support safety occurrence investigations
  • Support the IOSA accreditation in SMS and FDAP
  • Undertake any projects directed from Head of Corporate Quality, Safety and Security

Requirements:

  • Hong Kong permanent resident status
  • University education in aviation-related or safety science or risk management discipline or psychology or Holder of Aircraft Maintenance Engineer/Mechanic licence or Private Pilot Licence or Commercial Pilot Licence or Air Transportation Pilot Licence
  • A minimum of 1-3 years’ experience in aviation roles related to airline flight operations or Flight Data Analysis Programme or Safety Management Systems (SMS)
  • Familiar with SMS and Flight Data Analysis operations
  • Familiar with the IOSA programme will be an advantage
  • Familiar with business intelligence software, such as Power BI will be an advantage
  • Good command of both oral and written English and Chinese, proficiency in Putonghua a significant advantage
  • Detail-minded, organized and responsible
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Candidate with less experience may be considered for the position of Corporate Safety Officer, fresh graduates are welcomed
