‘GBA Air Link’— Passengers can enjoy a one-stop ferry/flight travel service for convenient travel to/from the Greater Bay Area
There is now a more convenient and faster option for passengers who need to travel to/from the Greater Bay Area via Hong Kong International Airport. Greater Bay Airlines has launched the "Fly via Hong Kong" service through a codeshare cooperation arrangement with Chu Kong Passenger Transport Company Limited (“CKS”). This service integrates air and ferry travel, ensuring a seamless connection experience. Passengers can now conveniently travel to/from the Greater Bay Area via high-speed ferry service. Passengers' luggage will be checked through from the point of origin to the final destination, providing travellers extra convenience and peace of mind.

*Passenger arriving at Hong Kong International Airport from flight, please approach E2 Transfer desk ( 60 minutes before ferry departure) in exchange of ferry ticket by showing your passport, air ticket, baggage receipt and valid visa if applicable.

In the event of special circumstances such as typhoons, passengers are advised to check the status of ferry through the official websites of ‘CKS’ www.cksp.com.hk to obtain the latest ferry schedules for better trip planning.
If a ferry is cancelled while the flight remains operation, passengers can use alternative transportation to reach Hong Kong International Airport for check-in and Greater Bay Airlines will handle such situation based on the specific cirucmstances.
In the event of flight delays resulting in missed connections to ferry services at Hong Kong International Airport, Greater Bay Airlines’ staff will collaborate with Ferry operator to arrange the next available ferry services. This ensures that passengers can seamlessly continue their journey to their destinations.
According to the Hong Kong Airport Authority, passengers connecting to flights departing before 10:15 have the option to take the last ferry from the previous day and remain within the restricted area of Hong Kong International Airport for their connection.
Passengers transiting via Hong Kong International Airport are not allowed to enter Hong Kong and are only allowed to stay in the restricted area.

The name of air plus ferry product provided by Greater Bay Airlines is ‘GBA Air Link’. It is a codeshare services with Chu Kong Passenger Transport Company Limited.
Any day change must be made at least two days before the ferry departure. Changes made within two days of departure are not permitted. Please contact your booking office to make any necessary adjustments.
You are not required to do so as your baggage will be tagged from origin to destination.
Online check-in will be available on flight service only.
For travel originating from ferry ports: passengers should arrive at the ferry port 60 minutes before the scheduled ferry departure. Please ensure you have a valid ‘GBA Air Link’ ticket, travel document and a valid visa for entry or transit if applicable. The ferry company will issue a ferry ticket and a boarding pass for your flight. You will then board the ferry to Hong Kong International Airport and proceed to the boarding gate for your onward flight to your destination.
For passengers starting their journey from a flight: upon arriving at Hong Kong International Airport, please proceed to the E2 Transfer desk. Present your ‘GBA Air Link ticket’, travel document and a valid visa for Mainland China. You will receive your ferry ticket at there.
We do not accept passenger check-in at Hong Kong International airport directly unless the ferry services are cancelled due to operational reasons or adverse weather conditions. In such cases, a supporting letter issued by the ferry company is required.
Please do not buy ‘prepaid baggage’ as it does not apply to this product. Any excess baggage charges will be collected by Greater Bay Airlines at the airport or Skypier.
The ferry counter will be closed 60 minutes before ferry departure.
For group travel ( 10 or more passengers), it is required at least 90 mins in advance to arrive at Ferry Terminal for check-in.
Passengers transiting via Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA) are not allowed to enter Hong Kong and are only allowed to stay in the restricted area. If you enter Hong Kong upon arrival from a flight or ferry, you are not allowed to re-enter into the restricted area to continue your journey.
- When passengers purchase the GBA Air Link product, they are considered to have read, comprehended, and accepted the terms and conditions of ‘GBA Air Link’ product.
- Greater Bay Airlines and Chu Kong Passenger Transport Company Limited do not provide any guarantee, and they shall not be considered to have made such a guarantee, that the ‘GBA Air Link’ will be available for purchase or accessible at all times.
- Passengers are advised to allocate ample time for transitioning between flight and ferry services. In cases of delays, cancellations, or rerouting that result in passengers missing their connecting ferry or flight, the terms and conditions outlined by Greater Bay Airlines and the passenger notice issued by Chu Kong Passenger Transport Company Limited will be applicable.
- Greater Bay Airlines and Chu Kong Passenger Transport Company Limited explicitly retain the authority to suspend, withhold, or terminate the availability of the product without prior notification.
- The ‘GBA Air Link’ product is non -refundable and non-reroutable.
- The Laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region shall govern the terms and conditions
- If there is any discrepancy between the English and Chinese versions of the Terms and Conditions, the English version will take precedence.
- The ferry services are contracted with Chu Kong Passenger Transport Company Limited (“CKS”). Greater Bay Airlines acts solely as an agent on behalf of CKS, which operates the ferry services. We assume no liabilities to you regarding the provision of these ferry services or during that segment of your travel.
- The contract for the flight is subject to Greater Bay Airlines’ ‘Conditions of Carriage’ while the ferry services are governed by CKS’ ‘Notice to Passengers’ https://www.cksp.com.hk/#/main/shipline/ship2 (Applicable to the Hong Kong International Airport SkyPier to and from Pearl River Delta route only) which may be updated from time to time.
- Greater Bay Airlines bears no responsibility for any actions or oversights of Chu Kong Passenger Transport Company Limited.
- Chu Kong Passenger Transport Company Limited shall not be responsible for any actions or oversights of Greater Bay Airlines.
- Both Greater Bay Airlines and Chu Kong Passenger Transport Company Limited reserve the right to decline any ‘GBA Air Link’ ticket that appears counterfeit, defaced, damaged, or altered without authorization.
