Job Description

Reporting to the General Manager, Engineering, you are expected to adopt a hands-on approach and to help strengthen our quality assurance capabilities in step with the growth of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensures all Company aircraft Certificates of Airworthiness are renewed in a timely manner with the HKCAD
• Manages the CMR Service Provider for the issuance of CMR
• Manages and monitors compliance with the requirements of the AOC Maintenance Support Arrangement (MSA)
• Performs audit of approved suppliers/vendors/contractors as required, in providing contracted-out services and maintenance work
• Manages the system for monitoring and/or amending the MME as per the HKCAD requirements
• Manages the Quality Assurance surveillance program to ensure that aircraft are maintained in accordance with GBA requirements
• Oversees the certification requirements for introduction of new/old aircraft or disposal of old aircraft
• Monitor the distribution of company manuals, including AMS and its amendments
• Represents Engineering Department to attend conferences and seminars related to Quality Assurance

Requirements:

• Hong Kong permanent resident status
• Holder of a bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical/Mechanical/Electrical/Avionics, or a related discipline
• A minimum of 12 years’ relevant experience in Engineering of which 8 years must be in the aeronautical industry, and appropriate management experience
• Comprehensive knowledge of regulatory requirements and familiarity with quality systems
• Understanding of human factors and human performance limitation
• Knowledge of Safety Management System
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability of multi-tasking
• Good command of both oral and written English and Chinese
• Proficiency in MS Office applications and Chinese word processing
• A team player, with strong interpersonal and communication skills
• People-oriented, with positive and collaborative attitude
• Independent, self–motivated and able to work under pressure
