Job Description

The successful candidate is expected to provide daily operational assistance to the Material Management Section and maintain an effective working relationship with other Departments within the Company and external suppliers/service providers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Submit spare request or Request for Quotation (RFQ) to suppliers or service providers for aircraft parts sourcing.
  • Issue Purchase Order, Repair Order, Advance Exchange Order to supplier or repairer or service provider.
  • Monitor the logistics and delivery of requested materials from the service providers or suppliers to ensure timely receipt into stock.
  • Replenish stock as required.
  • Manage the disposition of unserviceable spares removed from aircraft.
  • Sumit Request for Quotation (RFQ) to Forwarders for bulky and ad hoc shipment.
  • Vetting and validation of invoices and resolving invoice discrepancies with suppliers/service providers.
  • Work with Finance for payment arrangement and other invoice management.
  • Perform duty standby or shift after office hours for managing critical / urgent / AOG related to material requirement as required.

Job Requirements

  • Degree holder or equivalent discipline.
  • One to two years relevant experience with airline working experience in engineering or MRO an advantage.
  • Good interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Strong computer proficiency, especially MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
