Greater Bay Airlines’ scheduled service to Quanzhou to start in July

(3 July 2025) Greater Bay Airlines (GBA) further expands its Mainland China network with a scheduled service to Quanzhou in Fujian Province, starting 25 July 2025. This new route will operate daily between Hong Kong and Quanzhou (Quanzhou Jinjiang International Airport). In addition to scheduled service, GBA also operates charter service. The direct flights between Hong Kong and Palau will commence service tomorrow (4 July).

Located in southeastern Fujian Province, Quanzhou is a gateway city of the Belt and Road, and was among the first batch of National Famous Historical and Cultural Cities designated by the State Council. Built in the Tang Dynasty, Kaiyuan Temple is Fujian’s largest Buddhist temple and a national key protected cultural relic that appeals to many visitors throughout the year. Qingyuan Mountain National Scenic Area offers abundant natural and cultural attractions including the Laojun Statue, the largest Taoist stone carving in China dated back to the Song Dynasty. Inscribed in the list of the World Heritage Sites by UNESCO, Luoyang Bridge is regarded as one of the four ancient bridges in the country.
