Greater Bay Airlines to introduce seasonal service to Okinawa between July and October
(14 May 2026) Greater Bay Airlines (GBA) will introduce a seasonal service to Okinawa, Japan, from 11 July to 24 October this year, catering to the demand of summer travellers. This new route will operate one roundtrip flight daily between Hong Kong and Naha Airport.
Located in the southernmost part of Japan, Okinawa is renowned for its rich natural landscapes and historical heritage. Notable attractions include Shurijo Castle, designated as a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site; Cape Manzamo, famous for its elephant trunk-shaped rock formation and breathtaking ocean views; the Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium, home to the impressive Kuroshio Sea tank; and Mihama American Village in Chatan, a vibrant destination for shopping and dining with an international flair. Blending Japanese culture with Ryukyuan traditions, Okinawa is both a city of historical and cultural significance and an ideal destination for vacation.
