The candidate is expected to support the Assistant Manager, Cabin Crew Performance & Engagement (AMCCPE) in managing cabin crew performance, engagement, and communication activities. This role serves as the primary point of contact for day-to-day cabin crew performance matters, case follow-ups, and crew support. The position contributes to maintaining a motivated, professional, and service-oriented cabin crew community by upholding company standards and values.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and track cabin crew performance, attendance, and conduct, ensuring compliance with company policies and standards
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date crew performance records, logs, and documentation
  • Assist in conducting performance-related reviews and assessments, including end-of-probation evaluations, performance discussions, and follow-up reviews
  • Support the management and investigation of performance-related cases, including gathering information and preparing documentation and reports
  • Conduct or participate in counselling sessions, providing structured feedback and coaching to crew members
  • Assist in implementing and maintaining performance management frameworks, tools, and processes that ensure fairness, transparency, and consistency
  • Facilitate crew communication by disseminating notices, updates, and engagement information through official communication channels
  • Support the planning, coordination, and execution of crew engagement initiatives, such as recognition programmes, crew forums, and social or wellbeing activities
  • Act as a communication bridge between crew and management, providing feedback and observations to support performance and morale improvement
  • Prepare reports, statistics, and performance summaries for management review
  • Promote a positive and supportive work culture among cabin crew through proactive communication, guidance, and mentoring
  • Ensure all crew-related processes and actions comply with company policies, internal procedures, and legal requirements

Requirements:

  • Tertiary education or equivalent; relevant experience in counselling, coaching, or performance management may be considered in lieu of formal qualifications
  • At least 3 years of experience as cabin crew, with a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory or crew management capacity
  • Good understanding of performance management, crew engagement, and HR principles
  • Proven track record or formal qualifications in HR, talent management, or employee relations will be an advantage
  • Experience in counselling, coaching, or handling crew relations is essential
  • Familiar with crew performance management, disciplinary procedures, and engagement initiatives
  • Computer literacy, including Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), is required
  • A good team player with strong interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion
  • Able to work independently and under pressure in a dynamic environment
