Greater Bay Airlines warmly welcomes the Hangzhou-Hong Kong and Wuhan-Hong Kong Transfer Service under the “Linking the Trunk and Branch, Connecting Urban and Remote” strategy
(3 November 2026) Greater Bay Airlines (GBA) warmly welcomes the launch of the Hangzhou-Hong Kong and Wuhan-Hong Kong Transfer Service under the “Linking the Trunk and Branch, Connecting Urban and Remote” strategy. The airline would also like to express its sincere gratitude to the country and the Civil Aviation Administration of China for their continued support.
The airline believes that this innovative and deeply integrated model will further strengthen the linkage between the Chinese Mainland’s aviation network and Hong Kong’s international aviation network, creating a more efficient and synergistic route network. It will also facilitate the movement of people, enhance regional connectivity and provide travellers with more convenient travel options.
As the demand for transit travel between Hong Kong and Mainland cities continues to grow, GBA will further enhance the convenience of connecting flights via Hong Kong to international destinations when planning its future route network and flight schedules. The airline will actively align with and support the country’s civil aviation development strategy of “Linking the Trunk and Branch, Connecting Urban and Remote”.
GBA will continue to strengthen Hong Kong’s linkage between the Chinese Mainland and global markets, and contribute to the high-quality development of the country’s civil aviation industry, fully leveraging Hong Kong’s distinctive advantages of “enjoying strong support of the Motherland and being closely connected to the world”, as well as its important role as an international aviation hub.
