You are expected to response for executing internal and external communication strategies, managing media relations, crafting corporate materials, and supporting crisis communications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare corporate communications materials, including corporate brochures, newsletters, speeches, and speaking notes for senior management.
- Build and maintain strong relationship with regional and Chinese Mainland media outlets and journalists
- Support media engagement initiatives, including drafting press releases, press invitations, and coordinating interviews. Plan and organise press conferences and media events. Handle media enquiries and maintain media database
- Oversee daily media monitoring and sentiment analysis, identifying potential reputational risks or industry trends and prepare professional lines-to-take in the event of crises and issues
- Support stakeholder engagement initiatives, including coordination and liaison with different parties on the implementation of or participation in various activities
- Collaborate with the marketing team to align corporate messages for communications on various media platforms and digital channels
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Holder of a bachelor’s degree or above in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field
- A minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience in corporate communications or public relations. Prior experience in a sizable organisation is preferred
- Experience in engaging media and social media of Chinese Mainland is preferred
- Strong interpersonal, presentation and stakeholder coordination skills
- Detail-oriented, dedicated and self-motivated, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- An excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese, with proficiency in Putonghua
- Proficient in MS Office applications
- Able to work effectively under tight timelines and pressure. Flexible and willing to work outside office hours
